GUIDELINES FOR AUTHOR
IJAPS is an internationally recognized monthly published , open access ,peer reviewed journal .The mission of IJAPS is to provide its readers with current ongoing information with context to pharmaceutical sciences and other allied sciences.
INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ADVANCED PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES (IJAPS) publishes the following manuscript types :
SUBMISSION OF THE MANUSCRIPT
The manuscript should be written in English mode only. On successful submission manuscript ID is sent to our e-mail id . The manuscript ID is necessary for any further enquiries.
All manuscripts should be written by using MS office (2003 or above). Manuscript should be concisely typewritten in A4 sized sheets. Spacing between them should be 1.5.Pages should be numbered. Margin should be there on all sides. The manuscript shall be prepared in Times New Roman .The font size should be of 12 and title shall be font size of 14, bold space capitals. All section titles in the manuscript shall be in font size 12, bold face capitals and subtitles in each section shall be in font size 12, bold face lower case. Illustrations (Figures & Tables) must be inserted at appropriate place in the article. Standard International Units should be used throughout the text.
Pages should be numbered properly. No decorative border is required. The text should be arranged in the following sequence:
The title should be as short as possible on the first page. The contents should be precise .The title should be followed by full names of author (s), affiliations of author (s) and institutional addresses.
Authors and Co-Authors Details and Their Affiliations
Each author must provide their full name. The author of the manuscript must be marked with an asterisk*, and should be placed first. She/he must include mobile and e-mail address at the bottom left corner of the title page. At maximum 6 authors are allowed to include their names
It should be on one single page. It should be around 150-250 words. An abstract should prove thorough data on the major scope of the work, experimental conclusion. It should be informative. References and abbreviation should not allowed to be included in it
Please provide three to six appropriate keywords after the abstract.
Materials and Methods
Material and method should provide complete data such that experiments can be reproduced. The procedures should be described in detail. Important modifications of published procedures should be mentioned briefly. Previously published procedures should be cited. Please capitalize trade names and the name and address of manufacturer. Subheadings should be used. General use methods in used need not be described in detail.
Results & discussion
Result of the published work should be displayed precisely by using tables and figures. It should contain a critical review of the results. Result and discussion can be combined.
It should mention clearly the conclusion of the topic. Relevance of the topic can also be discussed.
Acknowledgements should be placed in a separate section after the conclusion. If external funding has been obtained for the study, then that should be mentioned under a separate header "Funding", after the acknowledgements.
The authors are requested to arrange bibliography. It is authors responsible for the accuracy of the bibliographic information. It must be numbered consecutively in the order that they are cited in the text and designated by superscript with square brackets after the punctuation marks. ([X]) a list should be included on separate 1.5spaced pages at the end of the text.

All tables must be numbered consecutively (using Arabic numerals) and be cited in the text. Titles should be short but descriptive. Each table should be on a separate sheet, together with a legend and/or footnotes identified by superscripts a, b, c, etc. In tables, the units are usually in brackets following the quantity, and the font should be Times New Roman and size of 12 pt.
Figures (statistical) are to be numbered in one consecutive series of Arabic numerals in the order in which they are cited in the text and abbreviated as Figure Z. The captions for figures should be typed on a separate sheet of paper.
Formula and equations
Structural and chemical formula, process flow diagrams and complicated mathematical expressions should be very clearly presented. All subscripts, Greek letters and unusual characters must be identified.
Review articles should not be more than 25 pages It should contain broad information about the topic. It should contain Abstract and Introduction. Review articles may not contain sections like Material and Methods and Result and discussion. All format requirements are similar to those which are applicable to Research papers
Articles which are not in length as full article can be submitted as short communications. New and interesting facts can be reported. These communications could be of up to 1000 words (excluding Abstract and references). It doesn’t require extensive introduction and discussion. This section should be organized into heads like Abstract, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and discussion (combined). Not more than 10 references should be provided. Tables, figures and references are to be arranged in the same way as for research papers. Figures and tables should be included at appropriate place in the manuscript
Research article involving experimental animals and human subjects in their work should seek approval from the appropriate Institutional Animal Ethics Committee in accordance with "Principles of Laboratory Animal Care". In material and methods section of the manuscript it is necessary to include a statement to prove that the investigation was approved.
Gallery proofs are sent to the designated author through Email. They must be carefully checked and returned the revised manuscript within 48 hours of receipt.
The IJAPS is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics .It aims to take various steps to avoid plagiarism. All authors submitting their works to the IJAPS attest that the submitted works represent their authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized .The authors can disclose all and any actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with it .Any departures from the above-defined rules should be reported directly to the Editors-in-Chief.
A manuscript will be considered for the publication based on the below understanding. All Authors named should agree to its submission It is not currently being considered for the publication by another Any changes to the author list after submission, viz., a change in the order of the authors, deletion or addition of the authors needs to be approved by a signed letter from each author.
Submission of the manuscript represents that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not considered for publication elsewhere. Authors would be required to sign a Copy Right Transfer Agreement Form once the manuscript is accepted.
Personal email id and information is not made public for any other work. It is used only for publication of article
